Precautions

A、LED LAMP Precautions In Use

1、Soldering Conditions:(Location At least 2 mm away from resin body)
·Solder dipping: 260 ℃max., 5 seconds max., one time.
·Soldering iron: 350 ℃ max., 5 seconds max., one time.
In soldering, do not put any stress on the lead frame, particularly when heated. Please avoid conditions which may cause the LED to corrode.This corrosion may cause difficulty during soldering operations.
2、Lead frame Forming and Use:
·Lead forming should be performed prior to soldering.When mounting the LEDs onto a printed circuit board ,the holes on the circuit board should be exactly aligned with the leads of the LEDs.
·Cutting the lead frame at high temperature may cause problems.Cut the lead frame at room temperature.
·Care should be taken to avoid any shock or vibration to the LED resin body after it has been soldered until the temperature of he LED has returned to normal.
3、Static Electricity
The high brightness Blue、green、white products are sensitive to static electricity charge. The customer is requested to take adequate countermeasures against static electricity charge and surge when handling Products.A tip of soldering iron is requested to be grounded.
4、Cleaning
Special care shall be taken when applying the chemicals listed below for cleaning because certain chemicals such as Trichloroethylene and Acetone may damage the surface of lens or case and cause discoloration., but you can use Ethyl alcohol cleanse instead,Dipping time 3 minutes max.at normal temperature.

B、CHIP LED Precautions In Use

1、Soldering Conditions:
· Reflow solder: 240℃ max, 5 seconds max,one time. Pre-heat is 150℃ max, 2 minutes max.
·Soldering iron: Power dissipation of Iron should be smaller than 25W,and temperature should be controllable.The work must be finished within 3sec under 320℃, only once.
Do not stress its resin while soldering.
After soldering,do not warp the circuit board.
2、Package and Storage:
·When moisture is absorbed into the package it may vaporize and expand during soldering. There is a possibility that this can cause exfoliation of the contacts and damage to the optical characteristics of the LEDs. So the moisture proof package is used to keep moisture to a minimum in the package.
·Before opening the package: The LEDs should be kept at 5~30°C and 60%RH or less. The LEDs should be used within a year.
·After opening the package: The LED must be used within 24 hours, else should be kept at 5~30℃ and 30% RH or less. The LEDs should be used within 7days after opening the package. If unused LEDs remain, they should be stored in moisture proof packages, recommended to return the LEDs to the original moisture proof bag and to reseal the moisture proof bag again.
·If the LEDs have exceeded the storage time, baking treatment should be performed more than 12 hours at 60 ± 5°C.
·The LED electrode sections are comprised of a gold plated. Please avoid conditions which may cause the LED to corrode or discolor. It may cause difficulty during soldering operations.Please use the LEDs as soon as possible.
·Please avoid rapid transitions in ambient temperature, especially in high humidity environments.
3、Static Electricity
